There were a couple of people who mentioned permission issues with some of the lecture notes. I made a couple of tweaks to the links, so please let me know if you see any issues. |

Several folks have asked about a Hudson instance that they could use for their project. We now have a dedicated server for Hudson, located at http://hudson.rallyedu.net. Please send me an email at butlerw AT colorado.edu to request an account so you can create a Job for your project. |

It has been a long time coming, but the schedule for the course has been posted to the site. The specific lecture topics listed are subject to change, but the test and especially the class demo should be pretty static. |

Test 2 will be given on Thursday, October 26th. It will cover lectures 9-14, chapters 1-4 in the Head First book, and labs 5-9. We will be using about half of the lab time tomorrow for review, so please come prepared to ask questions about the test. |

You will be required to set up a Git repository for the final project. You may choose to set up your own on a machine that is available to your team (and us), or you can set up a public repository on GitHub. Please feel free to contact us if you have any issues setting up a repository. |

We were going to have the first test on Tuesday, but several students expressed an interest in being able to ask questions in the lab prior to the test. We will have a normal lecture on 9/21 and the test will cover all content up to and including that lecture. |

We are going to be diving into some basic object-oriented concepts in lab 2. If you would like to prepare in advance, please read chapter 1 and chapter 2 from Bruce Eckel's Thinking In Java. |
